Struct nix::unistd::Pid [−][src]
pub struct Pid(_);
Process identifier
Newtype pattern around pid_t (which is just alias). It prevents bugs caused by accidentally
passing wrong value.
Methods
impl Pid[src]
impl Pidpub fn from_raw(pid: pid_t) -> Self[src]
pub fn from_raw(pid: pid_t) -> SelfCreates Pid from raw pid_t.
pub fn this() -> Self[src]
pub fn this() -> SelfReturns PID of calling process
pub fn parent() -> Self[src]
pub fn parent() -> SelfReturns PID of parent of calling process
